9.2   How to Configure the System

 

Too configure the system, there are two ways that uses the Shell command on the Terminal screen or use the Desktop window.

 

9.2.1     How to Configure Using "raspi-config" Command

 

To configure the system for booting the system, use the following command

 

[Command Format]

raspi-config

 

[Command Overview]    

■   This sets various items necessary for system operation.

■   User privilege          -- Super user.

 

[Detail Description]

■   Rebooting after setting

Depending on the setting items, in the case that the setting is not applied until rebooting, it is confirmed whether or not rebooting will be performed immediately after the setting is completed. If rebooting is not done, the changed settings are not reflected in the system.

[Used Example] 

When you execute the command, the screen to configure Raspberry Pi system appears as follows

 

pi@raspberrypi ~ $ sudo raspi-config

Here you can configure the settings for various items needed for booting. Move to the corresponding item and select it by [arrow] button. If you press the [Enter] button immediately or move to [Select] by [Tab] button and press the [Enter] button, the next screen to select the details starts.
