2.1 Hardware Configuration of Raspberry Pi
2.1.1 Basic configuration of Raspberry Pi
The hardware of Raspberry Pi has depends on the model, but the basic framework maintains the same structure as before. However, as the popularity of Raspberry Pi has increased recently, and the requirements for higher performance and various functions have been raised, and thus usage area has been expanded, hardware configuration of the latest model is slightly changed to support higher performance and add new functionality.
Below is an overview of the hardware configuration for the Raspberry Pi 3 model B, the most recent model at this time. It has enhanced CPU functionality and new Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities compared to the previous model, the Raspberry Pi 2 model B, but the other components are identical to the previous model and remain fully compatible.

If you look at individual devices in Raspberry Pi's hardware, it includes following devices:
■ System on a Chip(SoC) -- Chipset board
■ CPU -- Program execution
■ GPU -- Graphic support
■ Memory -- Temporary storage for program execution
■ SD card slot -- External storage
■ Power supply -- Power supply
■ USB port -- Connection to a USB device
■ Ethernet port -- Network connection via LAN cable
■ Wi-Fi -- Network access via Wireless
■ Bluetooth -- Connect to external Bluetooth device
■ DSI display port -- Touch LCD connection
■ HDMI port -- HDMI monitor connection
■ Audio & RCA port -- Audio and RCA monitor connection
■ CSI camera port -- CSI camera connection
■ GPIO port -- General I/O port for connecting various devices
