7.6 Help
7.6.1 Debian Reference
Raspberry Pi allows you to view Help materials for Debian which is the base for Raspbian. These materials are stored in the Raspberry Pi system itself. The related URL is as follows:
■ file:///usr/share/debian-reference/index.html
If you use Application Menu Menu à Help à Debian Reference, you can search related data. Depending on the user's choice, it can be viewed in HTML format on the web browser, or it can be downloaded and viewed as a plain text file, if "Plain Text" is selected.

The screen below shows that the help data is viewed in HTML format in the web browser.
When the user selects the "Plain Text" method, the compressed file is downloaded and archiver program is executed as shown below, and the contents of the compressed file are displayed together. The user can confirm the details of Help by using a text file inside the compressed file.
If you select the file and view it immediately or save it as a separate file and then view the contents, you can view the Help data in plain text format as follows.
