7.2.2     Configuration of Panel Area

   Panel

The entire area at the top of the screen is called [Panel]. It can be moved up, down, left, or right according to the user's setting.

The [Panel] area is usually used to control and coordinate the window. It can shut down or restart the system, and it also starts a specific program or displays the overall status of the system.

This panel can be divided into several areas according to the purpose, and each area can be defined to perform a special function. [Menu], [Application Launch Bar], [Task Bar], [Tool] can be said as used typical area.

 

   Menu

It is in the upper left of the screen. [Menu] has a menu list of the most important programs that can be executed in the window. You can run the program directly from the menu here.

 

   Application Launch Bar

It is on the right of [Menu] in the upper left side of the screen. [Application Launch Bar] has a list of various programs that can be executed in the window.

 

   Task Bar

It is on the upper middle of the screen. [Task Bar] represents the program that is currently running in the window, and is the window on Desktop window screen. It is displayed in correspondence with the window on the current desktop screen one by one.

 

   Tool

It is on the upper right side of the screen. [Tool] can check the status of wired network or wireless network, make necessary settings about them if necessary, and can be used to monitor specific system resources such as system CPU status.
